Iesha is passionate about creating social change. She believes in a fairer society for all and increased opportunities for the disadvantaged to succeed. She leads on projects that allow corporate clients to shape the conversation around issues they are passionate about that also positively impact young people in our society. This is done via research and think pieces. Recent projects have included youth homelessness and talent management in education. Iesha has a particular interest in participatory approaches that give research participants a true sense of agency.
Iesha has over 12 years’ experience as a senior manager and teacher in secondary schools and academies in London and the East of England.
Iesha also has experience as an effective independent consultant and coach. She has specialised in developing the expertise and capacity of Middle and Senior leaders. During her educational career, Iesha has been seconded to the Department of Education. She was part of the team responsible for the reforms to Initial Teacher Training which have led to the current variety of school-based routes into teaching.
Currently, Iesha splits her working week between LKMco and being a maths teacher. She is also an experienced governor in the Early Years phase. Iesha is a sociable geek and producer and editor of the LKMco Youth and Education podcast.
