About LKMco
We believe society should ensure all children and young people receive the support they need to make a fulfilling transition to adulthood.
We work towards this belief by articulating a vision for a society which does so, inspiring a desire to pursue it and enabling organisations to achieve it.
We work across the education, youth and policy sectors. We train and develop teachers, support school improvement and help organisations to develop youth projects. We then carry out rigorous academic and policy research about the issues experience tells us matter.
Our Manifesto
There are many examples of schools, third sector organisations and social enterprises that provide the outstanding services young people deserve. They transform lives and society and prove that it is possible for all young people to develop "the skills and confidence to write their own life story" - whatever their background.
That's why we think it is society's duty to nurture children and young people so that they make a fulfilling transition into adulthood. This is possible when we appreciate the variety of types of support children and young people need; it is not the same for everyone and only by understanding the needs of different children and young people can we help them to flourish.
